Paris is considered the luxury capital of the world with expensive fashion and food this is definitely a place that you need to save your pennies before you go! I had managed to save a little bit so that I could purchase some of the things that

I had my eye on especially those that couldn't get a hold of at home. I found the majority of my spending seemed to occur in places like sephora and the French pharmacies that lined the streets of Paris. 

Sephora was one of the biggies for me I purchased way too much makeup totally taking full advantage of what i had 'saved'. But lets not dwell on that I did way more interesting stuff than visiting as many Sephoras as i could possibly in 4 days...

We were pretty lazy when it came to touristy things we just got on one of the open top buses and just sat on that for probably around 5 hours maybe all day lost track of time to be honest. We didn't really get off only at the Eiffel tower, it was pretty hot so walking around a city where this little shade was high on our list, plus whats wrong with taking photos from the bus?! 

The main highlight of the trip was getting to go to the Moulin Rouge and enjoy the VIP experience. We had originally booked to see Sam Smith in concert but it was sadly cancelled so the Moulin Rouge seemed like a good alternative to me!

For somewhere that looks pretty somewhat not that great from the outside (that was the nicest way that i could possibly describe it!) It is pretty cool on the inside especially when you get the VIP treatment. For around £300 pp, you get a private table, a four course meal which i could not fault! Free flowing pink Champagne and or wine, a bag full of souvenirs and photos to take home with you.

The show was pretty good and don't just think that its all about women dancing with no clothes on. You honestly don't even notice that really you just enjoy the performance and thats it really.
