A Sephora & Mac Haul Part 1.

So its safe to say I have done some damage to my bank balance over the last couple of months whilst gallivanting in other countries. I mean after all im going to spend money when we don't have all the amazing brands available in the UK, so the likes of Sephora is like a gold mine to me!

I have to say this wasn't all one purchase these we separated my three different trips to Paris, Copenhagen and Stockholm. Because obviously not all Sephora's and MAC's are the same in Europe ;) in other words i should just not be allowed into a Sephora or MAC with an active debit card as it will suffer greatly!!

The goods.

The Products.

Too Faced Better than Sex mascara

After seeing this on probably every single beauty blog going but in the end it was going to happen eventually i was going to cave and buy this....my honest review of this that its a very wet formula and i felt to get the best use out of it for my lashes i needed it to be a tad drier. Other than that once the mascara had dried up a little i was in love with the effect nice full, thick lashes with a good curl hold. Other than the god awful name i cannot fault this mascara, definitely a firm favourite of mine.

Marc Jacobs The Dreamer Palette

I'd seen everyone and their mum rave about this palette from both sides of the atlantic so i thought it was about time to bit the bullet/ credit card and purchase this little beauty. Well i can honestly I'm so glad that i did, they have to be some of the creamiest, butter like eye shadows I've ever used. The pigment on these are truly beautiful with a a good range of shimmers and mattes. My favourite shade has to be the shimmer red/peach colour that has a gold shimmer undertone, i love more red tone eyeshadows as i feel they best suit my skin tone.

Sephora Matte Lip Cream in 01

After seeing this particular item on possibly one of my favourite bloggers every (Amelia Liana) I just could not leave Sephora without picking one of these up! I mean you can never have too many red lipsticks can you?!.... Obviously its a matte formula but its certainly not drying nothing like the standard liquid lipsticks that often destroy my lips after one day! Great to wear without a lip liner or for maximum pout factor whack this over any red lip liner!

Glamglow SuperMud Clearing Treatment Mask

I was never convinced about the hype of this product, and always wondered whether it was ever worth the money. But when i stumbled across the sample version which still had a hefty price tag i thought it had to be fate and took the plunge. The result, i don't think i will be able to live without this genius of a mask i mean it truly does do everything that it claims to do, you also only need the smallest amount so i can see my sample lasting a fair while...saying that i have already just purchased the full size which was a painful stab at £36.00 but oh well!

Too Faced Melted lipstick in Melted Fuchsia

If it isn't already obvious i have an obsession with lipstick.....I mean its not like i have probably have this colour already at home but not in the same formula....yes that is how i justify buying another lipstick....The colour and pigmentation is fantastic totally right down my street for bright and bold lip colours. The formula is a different one for me as i tend to only ever go for mattes as i find that anything is just too much hard work, with the slipping all over your lips and ending up on various places on your face. It is quite a thick glossy is formula, but the best way for me to apply this is to put on one coat, dab down with a tissue and reapply another layer and lightly dab again with a tissue just to take away most of the glossy finish and give it a more satin finish.

By Terry Ombre Blackstar in Misty Rock and velvet orchid

Eyeshadow sticks seem to be coming out of every brand on the planet, with some really good ones and some awful ones too, but i glad to say these are bloody brilliant they are creamy and pigmented without being too slippy that they will crease and somehow disappear on your eyelids. Once these bad boys are on your eyelids they are there for the day or until you can be bothered to remove your makeup... Misty rock is the basic throw on colour that is perfect for one of those no make up, make up days, but it can be truly amped up with some powder shadows for a perfect summery glow makeup look and velvet orchid is the perfect purple colour for a great evening smokey eye! all in all worth the price tag!!

Too Faced Cocoa Contour Palette

Contour has been such a hype as of late and its something that I've never fully trusted myself to do because i have see when it goes wrong...lets just say its not a good look... The fact that this palette smells of chocolate was an instant hit with me and the buttery texture of the powders they easy blend over the face and the pigmentation isn't too strong so you can have a subtle contour or if you're more daring than myself really create some amazing cheekbones!!

Make up Forever Full Coverage Concealer

Ive always considered myself as a bit of a drugstore concealer lover as i didn't really think there would be a concealer that would meet my high standards. This overtakes anything from the drugstore its full coverage qualities are just what i need with a constant battle with old and new acne, this covers everything, i can even use this under my eyes and it doesn't seem to crease on me.

EOS lip balm in Tangerine and Raspberry

Bit of a cult product that probably isn't really worth the price tag with many other cheaper products doing a better job. Probably my one regret purchase of the lot!

Sephora Pro Brushes in 23 & 56

I was in the market for some new brushes mainly something new to apply my foundation with as my trusty RT brush was looking a little worse for wear and i had seen many good reviews on the Sephora Pro brushes and honestly its pretty darn good, its soft and light and really easily blends my foundation easily into the skin. The second brush is an angled eyeliner brush and when i say angled i mean the actual brush was bent at an angle making it so easy to create the perfect line of eyeliner.

Sit tight for Part 2!

Bye x
